We have released version 1.6 of the iStats for Battlefield 3 app, this is a minor
update fixing a small issue and fine tuning the medals view.

Again we want to thank the community for pointing out
issues and suggesting great new ideas, if you have any suggestions
of your own then please, enlighten us!

• By default when a new version is installed it will display the quick guide again so people are made aware of new changes.
• Reset the weapons filtering one time at initial startup due to a minor bug in the previous release.
• Medals now display their progress bar more accurately.
• Medals now display the number of ribbons by their needed number of ribbons needed instead of the total.
• The time played mentioned in the weapons header is now the time that is spend playing a kit instead of the time using that kits specific weapons alone.
• Fixed default filtering of the weapons, by default it didn’t display the non-kit specific weapons.

We have finally finished our work on update 1.5 for iStats for Battlefield 3, this version will improve the app tremendously and we hope everyone will enjoy the result.

The list of dog tags might not be compete, this is something that cannot be fixed because DICE only remembers the last person from whom you took the dog tag / lost the dog tag to.
Tip from me is to update your statistics every time you played a game and took / lost dog tags. This will keep the list as complete as possible.

We submitted update 1.2 of iStats for Battlefield 3 to Apple last week and it has been approved. This update consists of a lot of major changes.
We want to thank the community for pointing out issues that were found and everyone who helped us to make the product better.

• Changed player validation, no more need to go to bf3stats.com to register unknown players!
• When a new player is added it will directly download the statistics and display that player.
• When you start the application again it will auto-load the last selected player.
• Added Coop mode statistics.
• Added Assignment statistics.
• Added a quick guide for beginners.
• Changed rank progress to display to what you still need for the next rank.
• Used language specific decimal separator for scores and accuracy.
• Fixed displaying the M4 and the M4A1 in the kit unlocks.
• Fixed displaying the M16A4 and the M15A3 in the kit unlocks.

• Added the BF3Stats.com banner (they supply all the statistics data and should get credit for it)

• Changed the soldier progression graph and information, it will now display the difference and progress to the next medal.
• Fixed a display issue with the kit unlocks, the graphs sometimes display wrong.

We submitted update 1.1 of iStats for Battlefield 3 to Apple today. This update consists mostly of stability and memory improvements. We want to thank the community for pointing out issues that were found and everyone who helped us to make the product better.

• Some users experienced crashes when adding new players

• Improved stability and memory usage
• Some users experienced crashes when refreshing
• Displaying rank 0 to 9 images fixed

Some users have reported that downloading the statistics could result in a crash of the app to the home screen. We are investigating this issue to find a solution.

In the mean time we have received reports that restarting your iPad ( by holding down the small button on top of your device for a few seconds ) sometimes solves the crashing problem.

We hope to have an update ready by next week which we can submit to Apple for review.

We are proud to aanounce that Apple has approved iStats for Battlefield 3 today.

Over the course of the day the application will appear in all the App Store’s around the world, this doesn’t happen all at once so it could take a few hours before it apppears in your local App Store. Please be patient.

iStats for Battlefield 3 is a great way to look at your statistics of Battlefield 3. Altough the app already contains a lot of information and details we are not finished yet. Soon we will send out an update containing Assignments and a Co-Op section. This update and all future updates will be free for everybody who has purchased this or future versions. We still have a lot of improvements and new functionality which we want to add in upcomming updates like comparing statistics, sorting weapons, vehicles, etc… in multiple ways, adding more (detailed) information etc…
