Hi, my app crashes every time I select a player. I paid for the product and want it to work. I have a iPad 2 3G with jailbreak. Thanks.

Hi thiagomendes,

Can you be a bit more specific as to what the problem exactly is.

Can you add a player without any problems?
When you have added the player and select this player from the list does the application crash directly?
Can you specify the gamertag and platform for me so i can see if i can reproduce the problem?
What version of iOS are you running?
Do you have the same problem on 3G and WIFI or does it only occur on one of the two networks?

Do you have any crash logs for me, this would make it a lot easier to reproduce the problem? you can find them in:

Settings -> General -> About -> Diagnostics & Usage -> Diagnostic & Usage Data

Hi Ronald,
I answered the questions in parentheses.

Can you add a player without any problems? (Yes)
When you have added the player and select this player from the list does the application crash directly? (A little black box is showed quickly – about 100ms – and crashes)
Can you specify the gamertag and platform for me so i can see if i can reproduce the problem? (The gamertag is Thiago Mendes and the plataform is PC)
What version of iOS are you running? (iOS 4.3.3 8J2 with jailbreak)
Do you have the same problem on 3G and WIFI or does it only occur on one of the two networks? (Yes, on both networks)

Do you have any crash logs for me, this would make it a lot easier to reproduce the problem? you can find them in:

Settings -> General -> About -> Diagnostics & Usage -> Diagnostic & Usage Data (There is no the item “Diagnostics & Usage” here)

I hope you help me.
Thank you very much.

Thiago Mendes.

Hi Thiago,

I found a possible problem which could explain why you are unable to retrieve your statistics. But before i rush out and send an update to Apple (which takes quite some time before it has been reviewed and processed) i would like to ask you if you could try the following:

Could you add a specific player and try to see if you are able to retrieve the statistics from that player:

Platform: XBox 360
Player: J2Defender

Ronald, I added the player J2Defender (XBox 360), but the problem persists.

Hi Thiago.

I found another issue which seems to be specific for iOS 4.3.x versions. Checking if the application has access to the internet crashes for some strange reason. Another issue i told you earlier had to do with the space in your name. I wasn’t aware that that could cause problems. I’ve fixed both issues and i am now in the process of testing.

I hope to be able to release a new version today or tomorrow. As the application has to go through the review process at Apple it could take some time before the update is live (average is four days or so). But if you leave the application on your iPad you will receive a notification from the App Store application that an update is available.

I hope this will resolve your problem, please let me know if it does.

I updated the version of iOS to 5.0.1 and the app don´t crash anymore. Thank you very much.

That is also a solution. For people who use iOS 4.x the app should also be stable now.
